This durable adapter features a NEMA 10-50 plug, commonly used for electric ranges in homes built before 1997. The female connection is a NEMA 14-50, 50 amp receptacle suitable for RVs or modern electric ranges. The receptacle has a built-in folding handle to make it safer and easier to use. Cable length is 18 inches. Made with heavy duty 6 AWG pure copper wire to handle a full 50 amps, electroplated to resist corrosion. For added safety, this adapter is equipped with a green wire which is used for grounding - simply plug the green wire in to your nearest standard electrical outlet. This unique adapter permits safe use with RVs, kilns, ovens, and any other application requiring a NEMA 14-50 outlet.
