Converts the higher voltage from Tesla 12V accessory outlets to a regulated 13.8V for reliable operation of all your accessories. Also great for vehicles with 24V DC outlets and other vehicles with high voltage or unregulated DC outlets.
New Tesla Model 3 and Model Y vehicles come with a lithium 12V accessory battery, which actually outputs up to 16 volts. This higher voltage may reduce the life of accessories that you might want to power from the 12V accessory "lighter" socket in the vehicle, and there have been reports that some appliances won't even operate. Maybe you don't have a Tesla, but you drive a truck or other vehicle that supplies 24V to the receptacles. Or you wish to operate sensitive electronics and are concerned about voltage spikes from your alternator. In either case, we're pleased to offer a solution!
Introducing our new 12V DC regulator. Simply plug it in to your 12V socket and then plug in any 12V accessory. Our regulator will automatically monitor and adjust the output voltage to a precise 13.8V DC, which is the typical voltage of a standard 12V lead-acid battery and the voltage that DC accessories are designed to accept. For maximum efficiency, we use a DC-DC buck/boost converter, which can accept a wide input voltage range from 8V up to 40V. So, you can also use this converter in vehicles that have 24V lighter sockets. Assembled in the USA using imported components. Using our converter, your accessories should last longer and operate with maximum reliability. Rated for up to 10 amps (140 watts).
