Fits most dryer outlets installed in homes built prior to 1997. Features molded NEMA 10-30 plug on one end and NEMA 14-30 receptacle on the other end. The green wire simply plugs in to the nearest regular wall outlet to provide a safe and secure ground connection.
The NEMA 10-30 is an older style outlet that is rated for 30 amps and is commonly used for electric clothes dryers. This 18 inch long adapter makes it possible for you to easily plug in a new electric dryer without changing the cord. Also works great for EV charging stations that have a 14-30 plug.
