Fits most new style dryer or oven or campground outlets. Made with heavy duty 8 gauge cable. Features molded plug that fits NEMA 14-30, 14-50, and 14-60 outlets. The other end has a molded NEMA 14-50 receptacle. Handles on both ends to make it safe and easy to plug in and unplug. Note: Appearance may differ based on current parts availability, but specifications are accurate. This adapter also works great as a short extension cord. Cable length is 2 ft.

The 14-30 is commonly used for electric clothes dryers, while the 14-50 is commonly used for electric ranges and is also commonly found at RV parks.

Please note, when plugging in to NEMA 14-30 outlets make sure your vehicle will never exceed 30 amps. We recommend following the "80% rule" and set your charging current to 24 amps when charging from NEMA 14-30 outlets.

Technical note: The plug looks a bit different because it is a special design modified to fit more than one type of outlet. We retain the 240V and ground connections and omit the neutral prong. This makes it possible to safely fit all types of NEMA 14 type outlets. The neutral prong is only used to supply 120V and is not used by electric car chargers. Because of this, it's not suitable for RV use - intended for electric car charging only.
